Located in the heart of Delhi’s high couture district, this flagship store for Shantanu & Nikhil translates their unapologetic, anti-trend philosophy into an immersive spatial experience. The design embodies the brand’s distinct language—decadent, masculine, sexy, pride, femininity and brutalist—while maintaining a minimal, modern restraint that foregrounds the garments themselves.
This 1800 sq.ft. space is envisioned as a couture den—a sanctuary of style that blurs gender lines and glorifies Indian identity through an architectural lens. Every design decision was anchored in their core values: sartorial strength, sculptural simplicity, and narrative depth. The store doesn’t just display fashion—it sets the stage for it. Clean geometries, dramatic contrasts, and elemental materials become a backdrop for the bold silhouettes that define Shantanu & Nikhil’s couture universe.
The space invites discovery while asserting authority. It offers clients a curated experience—where every surface, detail, and light moment mirrors the brand’s confidence, clarity, and creative rebellion.
DESIGN DETAILS
The materiality of the store speaks in a refined vocabulary—one that is sensual in texture and sharp in form. A palette of monochromes, burnt wood, brass, and terrazzo underlines the brand’s taste for restrained richness and raw elegance.
The ceiling was envisioned as an art piece in itself—custom-made panels layered with laser-cut, embroidered rexine stripes in the brand’s own graphic language. Predominantly black with touches of white, the ceiling casts a moody, theatrical ambience that wraps the space like a cloak.
